A Last-Minute Gift Guide

And just like that, Christmas was a matter of days away.

I fully intended on posting this gift guide sooner, but y’know, life gets in the way – as it always does – and honestly I was just having way too much fun in Disneyland (more on that soon, but lots to see on my Instagram in the meantime!), so yeah. Here it is!

I’ve actually got most of my presents ticked off the list (for once!), but for anyone who’s in a bit of a panic about what to get – or what to ask for.. – then hopefully I can provide a dash of inspiration, right in the nick of time. Most online stores have speedy delivery options available should you be really rushed off your feet this year.

As I get older, Christmas gifting is all about the small-and-lovely approach – little luxuries, perfectly proportioned miniature bits and bobs, a nice book, a pair of super bougie cashmere socks (most people would – quite rightly – balk at the price and never buy them for themselves, which makes for a brilliant gift all the more).

I’m quite hard to buy for in the sense that there’s literally no point in anyone getting me a nice lipstick, fragrance or nail polish, I get impatient if I ask for clothing so usually end up ordering it for myself instead, and anything else I could want would be too expensive for someone else to foot the bill (can you gift wrap a mortgage?). Most years I’ll ask for nice pyjamas, a few Lush bits (always Rose Jam, as it’s re-released each Christmas) and chocolate. Lots of chocolate.

Some of the bits featured were actually birthday presents I received recently, but were too good not to include! I can’t wait to delve into Tom Hanks’ Uncommon Type with a cup of tea when I get a chance – maybe I’ll go the whole shebang and light the beeeautiful Diptyque candle too? Add the Glossier face mask and Kiehl’s Body Oil into the mix and I’m in heaven! (Tonight’s plans: solidified.)

Keep scrolling for more gifting inspo – and let me know what you think of my picks! I better start making a dent in the to-wrap pile..
